Our Programs & Classes

Students and enthusiasts of Karate have many reasons for their interest in this and other martial art styles. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives. While still others are concerned about safety and self-defense.

Lil Dragons
Lil Dragons
Lil Dragons I: This is a 35 minute class that is designed for 3-7 year olds that do not have the maturity to attend our youth program. It places more emphasis on building self esteem and confidence skills than on technical martial arts moves. This class allows children to socialize and learn skills necessary for transition into school.

Youth
Classes begin with warm-up exercises that prepare the body for vigorous demands placed on it while practicing martial arts. A variety of drills and contests are used to improve skills and coordination. Classes are designed to emphasize goal setting, achievement, and reward. Students are encouraged to attend class at least two days a week.

Black Belt Club
The Black Belt Club is a program for our most committed students who are dedicated to earning their black belts. The BBC is for students with great attendance, a great black belt attitude, and who are committed to earning their black belt. The student must be of at least yellow belt rank.

Chon-Tu Kwan Hapkido
This is a core self-defense curriculum for black belts and adults. Combat Hapkido is an extremely realistic and versatile discipline of self-protection that includes an extensive variety of joint locks, pressure points, grappling, and disarming techniques. Combat Hapkido's dynamic concepts are based on scientific principles of anatomy and bio-kinetics as well as psychology and strategy.

Weapons Class
Weapons Class goes over the fundamentals of competition circuit weapons; kamas, bo staff, and nunchuckas. Other topics reviewed are special weapons - i.e. sword, escrima sticks, and cane; kicknastics - a combination of American Karate and Gymnastics.

Mixed Martial Arts
This program is designed to teach the fundamentals of Muay Thai kickboxing & Brazilian JuJutsu. Class will be a rigorous workout that includes: heavy bag, speed bag, focus pads, stretching, ground grappling, and sparring. *Proper safety equipment needed for sparring.
